175 Year Old Rare Antiquarian Copy - The hand written note states that the bible was presented as a gift in 1851. The Roman Numeral published date dates this bible to 1850. This bible is about 3.5" x 5.5", the gilt edging has worn away, the hand tooled leather covers are beautifully crafted and the hinge closure works fine. The first two pages are loose, the binding is intact but the original glue to hold it into place has also worn away as shown. I have not found another example of this particular style, age and size.
