Bohn’s Hand-Book of Washington Beautifully Illustrated with Steel Engravings of All the Public Buildings and the Government Statuary Prepared by Charles Lanman, Esq. Washington, DC: Casimir Bohn 1858 18mo, 120 pages, publisher's original gilt-lettered and decorated purple cloth covered boards. All edges gilt. Illustrated with the large fold-out map, frontispiece and vignette title. Now protected in a clear archival mylar jacket. Fantastic seller. Contacted me almost immediately with shipping details and an explanation about a potential delay due to the Juneteeth holiday. Book was wrapped in a ridiculous amount of bubble wrap so it would arrive safely. So awesome to have a book from the early 1800s on free trade. This was absolutely a great value and would buy from again! I have zero complaints.
