Description

Handmade pottery piece fired to cone 6 with food safe glazes in painterly fashion. This piece was made by me, Curtis Fontaine, an apprentice of Toshiko Takaezu for two years. Most of my work is inspired by time with Toshiko and her spirit towards being an artist. At www.CurtisFontaine.com one can see more of my work. This piece is part of a series of my first cone 6 venture. With lots of experience making these glazes I am finally able to create and combine for new finishes. Unsigned. But can come with signed hand-painted card on request. This multicolor Vermont state ornament is 4.5 in. tall.
