Rare Pre-War Chrome style Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 2.8/50 Exakta mount SN 2042929 Made in 1937 Very rare and very early lens. One of the first lenses for SLR cameras ever made. Was sitting on a pre-war Kine Exakta camera. In excellent working condition. No scratches, no fungus, no separation. Focusing ring works excellent. All 14 aperture blades work great! Splendid lens but the bayonet is very marginally too large (a fraction of a millimeter) to fit easily in the corresponding mount or in adapters. That happens sometimes with very old optical gear. it was fixed satisfactorily. I know this vendor well and he is VERY reliable.
