(I know, I always say I won't have much description, and then I write a short essay about the trick... But this time, I mean it! Since I am not spending a lot of time on the listings, I will make the prices extra great! If you know your magic, you will recognize many items and know they are a great deal here. Look at photo(s) -- what you see is what you get Researching this item, I learned a lot about Raisin Bran :-) This is a box stuffer coupon offer from Skinner's Raisin Bran. Turns out that Skinner's Pasta Company of Omaha, NE was the first to invent the popular cereal known as Raisin Bran. This happened in the 1930's, and the successfully sued Kellogg's in 1943 over the rights and royalties. Skinner's continued to make Raisin Bran, and included advertising collateral in the box -- sometines metal tokens, and also coupons like this one. This coupon is about the size of a poker deck of cards, and has info about how to get a magic kit on one side (if you collect 3 coupons), and a simple magic trick on the other -- the trick is the one where you break a pencil with a dollar bill. I have no idea what year these came from -- probably 1960's, but maybe earlier... It is photographed in a plastic sleeve to keep it from any damage, and will ship like this. But it does come out of the plastic easily, of course. A nice collectable for lovers of offbeat magic ephemera. Read condition notes please!
