Very Rare Trifari A.Philippe 1940s Enamel Rhinestone Patriotic Bird Brooch/pin. A wonderful example of an early, highly covetable 1940s Trifari patriotic color brooch, Alfred Philippe designed. It shows the signature TRIFARI on the back. The patriotic colors used on the brooch are common on pieces from the war years. A wonderful example of an early, highly covetable 1940s Trifari patriotic color brooch, Alfred Philippe designed. This fancy feathered fellow appears in red and blue cold painted enamel with yellow beak and black head Rhinestone accents to cover the body and some wings zone. The patriotic colors used on the brooch are common on pieces from the war years. Has res glass cabochon for eye The figural swallow pin in flight by Trifari measures approx 2.5" by 1.5" It shows the signature TRIFARI on the back. Condition is overall good , no kissing or loose stones , some enamel loss , closure is secure and works as should . Rhodium plating is very good .
