THE SONGS AMERICA SINGS, 1939 Simon and Schuster, by Hendrik Willem van Loon and Grace Castagnetta. This book is beautifully illustrated in both color and black and white. Study my pictures as I am NOT versed in grading books. The book appears secure in its binding with lots of wear and spotting to the front and back boards. The spine is loose for about 1 1/2" at the bottom front left. There is some damage inside front/back cover, pictured. It is signed and dedicated by both the illustrator and author. I believe these signatures to be authentic, not stamped in. The dimensions are 12 1/4" x 9 1/4" x 1 3/4". This is a wonderful early collection of truly historic American songs.
