Set of 14 Kai Kristiansen Model 42 Dining Chairs – Walnut – Miyazaki Chair Factory A complete set of 14 Kai Kristiansen Model 42 dining chairs, produced by the renowned Miyazaki Chair Factory in Japan. Crafted in solid walnut with upholstered seats and backs. Originally designed in 1956 by Kai Kristiansen, the Model 42 is one of the most iconic mid-century Danish dining chairs, known for its sculpted backrest and elegant angled legs. The backrests are designed with a small amount of movement for comfort, making them particularly suitable for long dinners. This set has been used in a small Michelin-guide restaurant dining room in Notting Hill, London, and presents beautifully as a complete set.
