Set Of 4 Moser Czech Bohemian Cut & Etched Glass Tumblers Stag Roe Deer Forests. Dating from the 1870s. A rare set of 4 Moser Czech Bohemian cut and etched glass Tumblers in a forest scene featuring gorgeous, deep carvings of red stags, sika deer and roe deer. Dating from the 1870s. No chips, cracks. The edge of one glass has been polished to remove a chip. Each measure 5 inches (12.7 cm) tall by 2 7/8 inches (7.3 cm) in diameter. Moser began producing high-quality etched and engraved Bohemian glass, often featuring forest, wildlife, and hunting scenes (including stags), largely during the late 19th century and early 20th century, particularly peaking during the Art Nouveau period (circa 1890s–1910s). Woodland scenes featuring stags, deer, and oak leaves are classic motifs from this era and feature the detailed Czechoslovakian /Bohemian craftsmanship that made the company and international success.
