SUPER RARE Alchymist Roses - 3 unrooted cuttings for rooting or grafting. βοΈ Grafting Method (with Nylon Cover, No Direct Sunlight) Materials Needed: Healthy rose rootstock Sharp grafting knife or blade Nylon grafting tape or parafilm Shaded area or humidity dome Steps: Prepare the Rootstock Select a healthy rose plant as rootstock. Make a clean diagonal cut on the stem. Prepare the Alchymist Cutting (Scion) Make a matching diagonal cut at the base of the cutting. Ensure the cambium layers (green ring under bark) align. Join and Wrap Fit the scion and rootstock together snugly. Wrap the graft union tightly with nylon tape to hold and seal it. Humidity & Light Control Place the grafted plant in a shaded area with indirect light. Optionally, cover with a clear plastic bag (with small holes) to maintain humidity. Aftercare Keep soil moist but not soggy. Avoid direct sun for 2β3 weeks. Once new growth appears, gradually expose to more light. π§ Water Rooting Method Steps: Prepare the Cutting Remove all leaves (already done). Optionally dip the base in rooting hormone. Place in Water Use a clear glass or jar with clean, room-temperature water. Submerge only the bottom 1β2 inches of the cutting. Environment Keep in bright, indirect light. Change water every 3β4 days to prevent mold. Root Development Roots may appear in 2β4 weeks. Once roots are 1β2 inches long, transplant into soil. π± Soil Rooting Method Steps: Prepare the Cutting Remove all leaves (already done). Dip the base in rooting hormone (recommended). Prepare the Pot Use a small pot with well-draining soil (mix of peat, perlite, and compost). Plant the Cutting Insert the cutting 1β2 inches deep into moist soil. Create Humidity Cover with a plastic dome or bag (with holes) to retain moisture. Light & Water Keep in indirect light, not direct sun. Mist lightly and keep soil moist but not soggy. Rooting Time Roots should form in 3β6 weeks. Gently tug to check resistance (a sign of rooting).
