Likely dating back to the early 1900s, this cylindrical tin features a beautifully illustrated teacup and saucer graphic and ornate typography advertising “High Quality Coffee.” Instructions for brewing are printed in red on the front label, with charming period directions such as “Scald the coffee-pot” and “Pour out enough to clear the grounds.” The tin stands approximately 6 inches tall and shows expected signs of aging, including oxidation near the top rim and general surface wear.
