You are looking at a spectacular New Old Stock (NOS) Alba by Seiko WT012B Alarm-Chronograph digital watch, complete with all original Japanese retail hang tags still attached — a genuine time capsule straight from the Japanese domestic market. Alba was Seiko's highly regarded Japanese domestic sub-brand, and finding a piece like this with its original tags fully intact is increasingly uncommon, making this an outstanding opportunity for serious collectors. The dial is clean, bold, and full of character. "ALBA / ALARM-CHRONOGRAPH" is printed at the top, with a row of five vertical bars on the upper right — a distinctive design flourish unique to this model that sets it apart from other Alba digital variants. The display shows day-of-week and date in the upper register, a row of mode selector icons in the middle, and large hours, minutes, and seconds in the main time window. Function reference text at the bottom reads: 24HR SELECT START-STOP / ALARM SET LAP-RESET. The movement reference on the dial reads JAPAN Y770-500A M. MODE is marked on the left side of the case, with a dedicated MODE pusher on the left case flank along with a light/backlight button on the right side. Two round pushers on the right case flank handle START-STOP and LAP-RESET functions. The case profile is beautifully executed — a squared form with strongly faceted, chamfered case edges that catch the light beautifully, giving the watch a distinctly architectural appearance. Case thickness measures approximately 9.0mm as confirmed by digital calipers in the photos. Case width measures approximately 33.0mm. The bracelet is a handsome five-row brick-link stainless steel design with a fold-over deployment clasp stamped STAINLESS STEEL. The bracelet fits a wrist of approximately 6 to 6-1/4 inches as shown on the EZ Bracelet sizing cone. The original Japanese hang tag is fully intact, showing the bold ALBA logo in red on black, with Japanese text confirming approximately 5-year battery life, 1/100 stopwatch, alarm, and daily water resistance. The original retail price is marked at ¥8,000 with model number WT012B / MADE IN JAPAN clearly printed. The green quality certification hang tag (金属製バンドの品質表示) for the stainless steel bracelet is also still attached. The watch is running and keeping time. Overall condition is excellent for a NOS piece, with light storage-related patina visible on the case sides consistent with age, but no cracks, chips, damage, or missing parts. The display is crisp and the pushers are fully responsive. This is a remarkable survivor in outstanding all-original condition.
