Pair of Chinese porcelain figurines depicting Jintong and Yunu (Golden Boy and Jade Girl), traditional Chinese symbols of harmony, prosperity, and good fortune. In the UK these are often described as Chinese good luck figures or boy and girl prosperity figures. The figures are decorated in bright enamel colours with gilt detail and are dressed in traditional costume, each holding a symbolic coin plaque associated with wealth and good fortune. Both figures are mounted on their original carved wooden stands. The porcelain bases feature factory vent holes typical of Chinese export porcelain. The wooden stands retain a Made In China label, indicating late 20th century manufacture. Condition is great overall with no cracks or repairs observed. Minor surface wear consistent with decorative use. A decorative and symbolic pair of Chinese export figurines, suitable for display in the home or as traditional good luck ornaments. Appreciate the way this wonderful seller packed. Was wrapped carefully in layers of wrappers and placed inside a box with no space to moved. And double boxed for the long journey.
