Description

Here you have a wonderful bit of VINTAGE MOTHER'S DAY and WORLD WAR II MEMORABILIA! Please...SEE THE SCANS! This is AN EXTREMELY RARE ORIGINAL 1945 SOLDIER'S MOTHER'S DAY POEM that comes with its original mailing tube and company insert. You can read the moving words of the poem yourself by seeing the scans. (The watermarks are mine, not on the original.) This "MOTHER'S DAY" 1945 was originally read by CURLEY BRADLEY on the KC BAKING POWDER'S "KC JAMBOREE" carried on NBC radio stations. The company that produced the baking powder was JAQUES MANUFACTURING of Chicago. This gem measures 10 inches X 13 inches. The condition should be clear from the scans. THIS HAS NEVER BEEN USED! It came out of a box stored since World War II. There is some discoloration of the paper. The smaller enclosed note measures 6 inches X 3 inches. This is all gently treated and truly rare as a collection like this! This is a great piece FOR THE COLLECTOR! Take it home with you! Please Check Out My Ebay Store for more great memorabilia! I am happy to send this to any country. 1st class international air postage will be charged… More excellent packaging and free shipping here in the United States! THANKS! 050821

  1. Garth, Both of these items arrived unharmed. Both were exactly as you described- I am a very "happy camper". Thank you for your excellent packaging, it saved the items from possible damage by USPS being a little careless somewhere between you and me ! If you happen to acquire the similar 1866 item that I mentioned and am looking for, please let me know. Thank you again, You are an Excellent Seller. Sincerely, Doug T.
