This item was as advertised, was very well packed, and once shipped, arrived promptly. The only problem was that it took the seller 14 days to ship it after it was paid for. It was not clear whether this was due to circumstances beyond their control. (One star off for shipping delays, two for not communicating) Quality is superior to many of the swords I've found on Ebay. Fit, finish, and appearance are excellent. Condition is in fact new. I imagine the recipient will be very pleased with it.
