Offered is a scarce privately printed limited edition of Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death by Patrick Henry, issued in 1956. This edition was privately printed in Cincinnati, Ohio, in a strict limitation of only 50 numbered copies. This example is hand-numbered #26 and is signed by Helen G. Young, associated with the production of the book. The volume features decorative patterned cloth boards with gold-stamped spine lettering, and is printed on high-quality paper in a fine private-press style. The text reproduces Patrick Henry’s famous oration delivered at the Second Revolutionary Convention in Richmond, Virginia, March 23, 1775. Condition: Very good overall. Binding is solid and intact. Pages are clean and unmarked with no writing or highlighting. There is some light waviness/cockling to the pages, consistent with age and past moisture exposure, visible in photos.
