Description
This beautiful, oak veneered door with wavy glass was salvaged from the offices of a 1930s era plant in Salem, Virginia. The door shows oak veneer on one side and walnut veneer on the other. The glass is not present. Salvaged from the offices of Valleydale Plant in Salem, Virginia. Condition: This door is in good salvaged condition with cosmetic flawing throughout. Finish loss and discoloration as well as minor delamination are visible mostly along the bottom of both sides of the door. Scratches and scuffs and minor chips and cracks in the veneer are present throughout. Hardware and glass not included. Weight: 45 lbs. Item Measurements: 35.75(L) x 1.75(W) x 85(H) History: The Valleydale plant, established in 1936, was a major employer in Salem, Virginia and a key part of the city's industrial history. The plant closed in 2006.
Haven't used so can't actually rate the product. wanted a particular lightbulb that was discontinued, Black Dog Salvage had more than one - good on them. The bulbs were delivered as promised - good on them. I'll use the bulbs once a current bulb needs replacing. If they work, good on them. If they don't - that's on me, it was worth the chance.
