Front Installation 1. Raise the front of the vehicle and securely support it onjack stands or a lift. 2. Remove the front wheels. 3. Disconnect the tie rod end from the steering knuckle. 4. Disconnect the sway bar link form the control arm. 5. Remove the wheel speed sensor wiring bracket from the back of the steering knuckle. 6. Remove the wheel speed sensor from the hub. 7. Leaving the brake line connected, remove the brakecaliper and securely support it out of the way. 8. Disconnect the upper ball joint from the steering knuckle. Install the strut spacer on to the top of the strut with theincluded hardware (torque spec: 52 ft-lbs.) 12. Install the strut into the truck and tighten the uppermounting nuts (torque spec: 52 ft-lbs.). 13. Connect the strut to the lower control arm (torque spec:120 ft-lbs.). 14. Attach the upper ball joint to the steering knuckle (torque spec: 100 ft-lbs.). 15. Attach the tie rod end to the steering knuckle (torque spec: 100 ft-lbs.). 16. Install the brake caliper (torque spec: 59 ft-lbs. + 30-45degrees). 17. Install the sway bar link (torque spec: 85 ft-lbs.). 18. Install the wheel speed sensor and wiring bracket. 19. Install the wheels (torque spec: 140 ft-lbs.). 20. Verify that the suspension is not binding and analignment is always recommended after alteringavehicle's suspension. Rear Installation 1. Remove the lower shock mounting hardware from both sides of the truck saving it for reinstallation later on; 2. Remove the upper shackle mounting bolt work the upper shackle legs away from the frame bushing, a small pry bar can help with this if it's snug; 3. Remove the lower shackle mounting goal; 4. Remove the OE shackle on the new lift shackles, decide what the longer legs goes up towards the frame, install a washer on the included new shackle bolt pass it through the shackle, and frame bushing capping it off with another washer and an included nylock nut, don't tighten it just yet now, align the leaf spring bushing with the lower end of the shackle to install another new shackle bolt with washer; if you have a hard time aliging the holes, you can adjust the floor jack supporting the axle until everything lines up everything is close, but still snug rubber mallet or a dead blow hammer can lend some help cap this off with another washer and nylock nut as well. 5. You can secure the shackle hardware these get fastened to 118 pound-feet of torque repeat the same shackle installation process on the other side of the truck.
