ON OFFER FOR AUCTION I HAVE A BOOK TITLED: EAST OF THE SUN AND WEST OF THE MOON: Old Tales From The North Illustrated by Kay Nielsen. The book is published by Hodder and Stoughton Ltd, London. Undated but circular 1924. 1st thus. East of the Sun and West of the Moon The Blue Belt Prince Lindworm Soria Moria Castle The Princess on the Glass Hill The Cat on the Dovrefell Etc.. the books cover is yellow / cream cloth boards with black title writing and decorations. The cover has some light surfcae shelf ware and light bumping / rubbing to the corners and top and bottom of the spine, otherwise in good condiiton. The hinges, inner boards and endpapers are in good order. With 24 coloured tipped in plates ( all present and complete). There are also black and white illustrations and drawings throughout the book. There are 284 pages. Overall the pages are in good condition with just a few odd fox marks here and there. A nice copy of this rare book illustrated by Kay Nielsen.
