Description

Vintage European military service cap dating to the Cold War period, approximately 1960s–1970s. Olive green wool peaked cap with brown leather chin strap and gilt metal crossed-swords within laurel wreath insignia, denoting army officer service. Interior maker label marked Hassing B.V. – Amersfoort, a Dutch manufacturer known for supplying military uniform components in the Netherlands. Size 58 (European sizing). Construction, materials, and labeling are consistent with Dutch Army (Koninklijke Landmacht) service dress caps of the period. Displays well with original period patina. Note: Similar insignia designs were used by several NATO armies during this period; cap is offered as Dutch manufacture based on maker marking. Excellent condition for its age with just minor signs of wear. Please inspect the photos to check the quality/condition for yourself.
