Description
Early divided back postcard showing Philadelphia City Hall, one of the largest and most architecturally significant municipal buildings in the United States. The scene captures City Hall at Broad and Market Streets with surrounding early 20th-century streetscape, trolley lines, and period buildings. The card is copyright 1908 by W. N. Jennings and features the classic address-only back with informational text, firmly placing it at the very end of the Undivided Back era. Unused, with clean back and strong color, making it an excellent example of an iconic Pennsylvania and civic architecture postcard.
I was very happy to see that something being shown as Out for Delivery was actually delivered the same day. I have had terrible experiences with USPS the past month, items postage due, marked undeliverable with the correct address, returned to sellers, even overseas. Something is very wrong with the combo of eBay packaging and USPS requirements. I am hesitant to even continue buying postcards off eBay.
An issue free transaction delivering a very pleasing and interesting card which arrived safely and securely and thoughtfully packaged for transit. Thanks for the care and attention given to this order - all much appreciated. Card arrived bang on as scheduled and proved to have been accurately described and pictured. Worth the money paid for such an interestingitem. Recommended seller A*****
