This is an amazing feat of craftmanship. Handmade, this plique du jour pendant seems very old, judging from the ornate bale that has an arts & crafts design. Beautiful greens and pinks radiate from the silver surrounds of each piece of "cathedral window." It hangs about 2.5" inches including the bale and is 1.25" at its widest point. It is marked "sterling" on the bale.
