You are bidding on a game from Hasbro, produced in 1964, titled "Challenge the Yankees". I understand this to be a sort of legendary game, as it comes with individual and unique cards for about 50 major league stars of the early and mid 1960's. This is the first edition of the game Unfortunately, this copy is well worn and is not quite complete. The box top and bottom is broken at all the corners and there are additional tears and where along the sides in places. As far as the individual pieces, here is what is present - the number in parentheses is what is supposed to be there. Yankees Baseball Cards - 25 (25 is correct) All Stars Baseball Cards - 25 (24) Blank Baseball Cards - 25 (25) - about of third of these have been used in terms of having someone's name written on them. "Singles" cards - 24 (24) "Doubles" cards - 19 (24) "Triples" cards - 23 (24) "Ground Balls" cards - 24 (24) "Fly Balls" cards - 23 (24) Dice - 1 (2) Pegs - 3 (4) Manager Cards - 2 (2) There are score sheets, but they all appear to have been used. There is no instruction sheet The scoreboard and "infield" are intact, except that the "singles" and "Doubles" boxes are no longer attached to the scoreboard. The various cards are in generally good condition with minor wear to a few, which generally looks like slight tearing when they were separated from each other. I have included pictures of all 49 player cards (one is missing), but if you want to know how any one card looks, let me know and I will attach an individual picture. Almost all of the wear I'm speaking of are on the colored "single, double, etc." cards, and not the player cards, although there are a few of those with small tears. Winner pays for shipping and handling via ground advantage, which will vary based on the buyer's location. This is a large game and with the outer box to ship will weigh around six pounds. This is the preferred shipping method, but will send by other methods if less expensive, or if requested. Will combine shipping. Due to the weight of this item, I am unable to ship internationally.
