Our Perspective: Boucheron is best known for its fine jewelry, yet its watchmaking quietly rivals that same level of artistry. The Reflet line, first introduced in the late 1940s, perfectly captures the brand’s elegance and inventive spirit. Its signature fluted “gadroon” motif, invisible clasp, and patented strap-swapping Reflet system transform the watch into an object of design as much as function, bridging the worlds of horology and haute joaillerie similar to the houses of Piaget and Cartier. This stainless steel Small Model Reflet (18 × 29mm) is a perfect size for both men and women and features a minimalist silver roman dial that blends perfectly into the bezel and case. In our opinion, this is the best Reflet configuration after the elusive rose gold Clou de Paris variation. Current retail for a modern medium model is $4,120 plus tax, and in our opinion, the newer versions are far less appealing than the vintage examples. Condition Report: Very good overall condition. Watch shows medium signs of use throughout including scratches and small indentations. Dial has faint spotting and crystal has faint scratches, only noticeable under magnification. Bracelet has little to no stretch and fits a maximum wrist size between 5.5" and 5.75". Quartz movement sets well and keeps accurate time. Watch only. Condition Grade: 8.5/10
