Condition Notes (Please Read): This piece has the classic ruby flash decorated finish, which was applied by hand over clear glass. Because of its age, some of this painted finish has worn or peeled in certain areas, especially on the underside of the base (see photos). This type of wear is very common on Indiana’s decorated pieces and happens simply from time, handling, and washing over the years. • The red glass itself is not damaged — only the decorative flash layer shows wear. • There are no chips, cracks, or structural issues anywhere on the hen or base.
