Description
Antique King James Bible in worn leather binding. Includes “Psalms of David in Metre” section printed in Edinburgh by Sir D. Hunter Blair & J. Bruce dated 1807. Main title page is not present. Handwritten ownership inscription dated July 16, 1810 signed inside (appears L.C. Alexander). Features laid paper with visible chain lines and early typography including long “s.” Measures approximately 6” x 3 1/2” x 2”. See photos for complete details. Condition: Antique condition with heavy wear to leather binding, edge wear, scuffing, and surface loss. Pages show toning, staining, and handling wear. Title page missing. Binding intact but worn. Seller combined shipping on this and another order. I made an offer on a bundle and my offer was accepted. Great value on two pieces for restoration. I'm sure they're described accurately and packing will be adequate. Seller was so very easy to work with and because of the combined shipping I was refunded nearly $12 as a credit. eBay doesn't make it easy to combine shipping and they need to work on a way for this to be easier for sellers.
