Complete antique Chinese mahjong set in original 5-drawer hardwood carrying case. Tiles are hand-carved and hand-painted, believed to be bone over bamboo — traditional construction. All 144 tiles present, drawers full. Includes bone scoring/betting sticks, 2 bone dice with red pip accents, brass wind indicator, and wooden tile racks. Case measures 9.25”W x 6.5”D x 6.25”H. Features brass corner mounts, cloud-form brass carrying handle, and individual brass drawer pulls. Rich red lacquer finish with beautiful natural patina. One drawer pull has a piece broken off due to natural age and use — drawer still functions fully. Sold as-is. Buyer to verify materials. Minor cosmetic wear consistent with age — tiles intact, no cracks, no missing hardware. A genuinely complete set; these are increasingly hard to find this way. Nice bolo slider. The actual slider is nicer looking than the photos. Shipping (postal service issue) was late. The package was mistakenly routed on a few occasions. I arrived a few days late.
