INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Ensure Safety If you need to work under the vehicle, be sure to use safety stands to support the vehicle. Verify Before Removal Before removing the old lift support, check the type of end connectors and the extended length to ensure they match the mounting ball studs and specifications on your vehicle. Remove the Old Lift Support Use a small flat-head screwdriver to insert it under the U-shaped spring clip at the end of the support. Gently twist the screwdriver to lift the clip approximately 3 mm, then pull the support off the ball stud to remove it. Install the New Lift Support Follow the reverse steps of removal. Important: Do not force the end of the new lift support onto the ball stud without slightly lifting the U-shaped spring clip, as this may cause damage. Installation Condition The lift support must be installed in the fully extended position. Typically, the support cannot be compressed before installation. First, attach the rod end (the thinner end) of the support to the ball stud on the vehicle.
