The Cartier Tank is one of the most iconic watch designs ever created. It was first conceived in 1917 and made available in 1919, and its timeless rectangular form has transcended generations of style. Introduced as a more attainable take on the classic, the Must de Cartier line featured vermeil cases (18K yellow gold plated over solid sterling silver) and creative dial variations. This blue 'Lapis' azure-colored dial example features Cartier’s signature 'Double C' logo at six o'clock. Its simplicity captures all of the enduring charm of Cartier design in a distinctive and collectible expression for less than its solid gold counterparts. The original Cartier high grade manual-wind calibre is based on the highly respected and reliable ETA 2512-1 movement, so this timepiece is a workhorse as well. I'd been spending the longest time looking for a Cartier tank watch with red dial and in smaller size, and fortunately came across this amazing seller.
