Atlas of Properties Along the Philadelphia, Wilmington, and Baltimore Railroad and the Philadelphia & Westchester Rail Road, from Philadelphia to Chester From Official Records, Private Plans, and Actual Surveys Philadelphia: G. M. Hopkins, C.E. 1882 First Edition Atlas folio (18.75" x 14.75"), illustrated with all 28 hand-colored maps, one of which is a large fold out. Publisher's original gilt lettered grey cloth covered board. Top board detached, final map and free endpapers detached, lacks rear board, some discoloration and soiling, a few tears along the edges, rubbing and wear, else in good condition. A scarce and important regional atlas documenting railroad expansion and land ownership in late 19th-century southeastern Pennsylvania.
