In the original period sheepskin binding, in 503 pages. There is light shelfwear. The binding and block are firm. There is a previous owner's very early inscription to the front blank endpaper, and another dated 1855 to the rear blank endpaper. There is no foxing. There is a degree of tanning to the pages.
